I have only discovered this site recently but am already hooked.I SEE that some time ago some lads were looking to invest in Northern Ireland which has seen massive growth in the last 3 years. People say it will not continue but i know it will. I PREDICT that already this year prices are up at least 10% since the turn of the year.I currently own 6 properties in Belfast and of late Derry. Historically Derry has lagged behind Belfast but now it is experiencing the same levels of growth but at a lower price level.
From reading other posts i see that most people in the U.K Want the rent to cover interest only mortgages, unfortunately this will not happen in Northern Ireland, but what will happen is that the price of your house will rise anything from £500-£700 a week. With the property market in the Republic now slowing down smart investors from Dublin and CORK coming North and buying everything.
If you want to read further on this log onto www.propertynews.com and read the quarterly reports from the Bank of Ireland. They always side on the side of caution but big gains are still available to anyone who buys.I have great contacts in Derry where you can still get some excellent properties under 150k.If you want any more info contact me on johnjazzharan@hotmail.com
Thanks John.
