I have noticed The Moneycentre advertisers a lot here. Does anyone have any experience of them and are they OK to deal with?

Absolutely Brilliant - especially in getting around 'problems'. Give Geoff Croft a ring and he'll sort your funding out. They do charge a small fee but it's worth every penny.

Hi, we've used the money centre a lot - but they are expensive 1% of your mortgage. If you use Mortgages for Business and are a member of the Residential Landlords Association (google it -RLA) which costs just £70 a year, their broker services are FREE - now that IS worth knowing!! |

Rememeber a "FREE SERVICE" does not always reap the benefits of best results, a lot of these brokers only deal with a handfull of lenders, which means you could be paying a higher rate or even higher lenders fees. Buy to lets are non regulated so you have no protection against bad advice and the person selling them does not need any qualifications. Use a FSA registered broker who is qualified and pay him say £350 to £650 max. Theres no such thing as a free meal. some lenders pay very poor commissions. www.oakhillmortgages.co.uk |

listen to alex, he has taken the words out of my mouth. certain brokers can only package for certain lenders. |

Money Centre sent me a "supposed exclusive deal" - sent it my broker as he doesn't charge 1% fee and he managed to find out who was doing the deal and got it for me also. Saved over £2000! Some people benefit from their "added value" that they report to bring to investors but most experienced investors just want the best deal at the least cost! |
