The Bank of England base rate is heavily tipped to rise this Thursday based on evidence drawn from some of the UK's leading experts;
- Inflation is 0.4% above the Government target - It is anticipated that the base rate will increase to 5.00% - The last time the Bank of England base rate was increased to this level was in September 2001 - Lenders are expected to react by increasing rates
Whilst this is not guaranteed it may be prudent to act now and secure a competitive offer before the market changes.
