There seem to be a bewildering range of websites/services out there which collect details for upcoming property auctions (from many auctioneers) and then sell on.

I'd really like to sign up for one of these services but, before I do, I'd love some advice.

Which ones do you recommend (e.g. eigroup, ukauctionlist, Choices) ?

Thanks a million!

Nate

I'd recommend none of them. They all charge you for information that you can obtain for free from elsewhere, and it's not always up to date. eigroup to be fair I understand has information on historic sales prices however to me thats not so relevant - current values are important not what something went for at auction 18 months ago. Keep your money in your pocket until you find a decent property. Other thing you need to do is decide what you're looking for and where - eg a 3 bed semi to refurb in NW10 or a 2 bed terrace in Burnley to let out - then focus on the auctioneers covering the areas you want.

Good luck Neville

Couldn't agree more. Remember there are countless sharks out there preying on those who aren't quite sure what to do. The whole game is easy, if you have the time to invest. Get in touch with probate solicitors, agents and developers and start your relationships now. Don't forget their champagne at Christmas! Two bed terraces in Burnley, Hull wherever are cheap for a reason. I'm not necessairly saying avoid, but know what you are getting into.
