Dawn, be careful as a lot of the cheapies in ts1 post code area are going to be pulled down, in general there are three guys in boro who have pretty much got the market sewn up and i know they have a war chest to snap up any bargains quickly. the only thing i can reccomend is a visit to the area and go with your gut feelings i tend to prefer darlington the props are dearer but there are better rents and less derelict or boarded up homes about
