In a recent letter from the deputy prime minister the housing policy of Poole council was declared unlawful. Basically councils cannot have a blanket policy and much treat each case on its own merits. You may think this does not affect you , but if you are trying to evict DHSS tenants you could have a problem . Please see our website at http://homes4wreck.co.uk/ for more details .You can find a link at AOL or google or you can email for one at homesforwreck@aol.com

Reading what you've got to say, it's actually quite interesting.

I've not looked into the South West before. What are the yields like?

I've always assumes that all the Londoners have bought up second homes down there, and given the relative lack of industry/ jobs, that the rentable market isn't that strong. Am I very wrong?

Great to see someone standing up against the councils (whilst keeping a sense of humour!). The law is most definately not on the side of the small private landlord at present.
