An owner of a property on the equipost.co.uk BMV list said that they would accept an offer at up to 17% below market rate, so I made him an offer with the promise that I would complete within 4 weeks. I arranged for the property to be RICS valued. Under the equipost scheme I can now purchase the property at the RICS market valuation less 17%. Only problem is I dont want to let the property vendor down on my promise to buy within 4 weeks. Is anyone in contact with a mortgage broker in Scotland that can arrange things this quickly?
A quick response one be appreciated as I don't want to lose this deal.
