perhaps not the most active forum on the face of it - but the most withour doubt the helpful that i have come across.

there are other busier forums but i have found that they just seem to be filled with time wasters looking for arguements that have never actually invested in property before.

I agree Tom. Personally I like to visit at least once a day but sometimes there is so little activity it is hard to add any comments.

Exactly Kate, its quality instead of quantity.

Quality instead of quantity right now, but with time we will have more of both.

You can never stop learning. No matter how experienced you are, no matter how many properties you own. I have gained so much from this site, which has either helped me directly (e.g. tax questions, relevant websites) or interesting things which may help me in the future (electrical under-floor heating (!)).

Regards, Malik

PS. Steve, From my personal experience, if you aim just right you can slam-dunk your cloths into the washing basket and save on the complaining...!

I think the common characteristic in the landlords on here is that we spend most of our time sourcing and managing investments and doing day jobs, and minimal time talking about it! Happy to contribute when I have time, but if you want full time talkers (and questionable investment experience) try singingpig.com.

I'd rather a quiet forum (like this) as opposed to some of the nonsensical drivel you have to trawl through on some of the others ! ;-) At least on this forum the posts are kept topic related and professional opinions are exchanged freeley and openly.

Phil,

Out of curiosity I took a look at the… well, lets just call it screaming swine site (!). You are right and I agree with your comments! However, I must say I liked the news-threads, which lead one to the news-source. Very useful in keeping up with our market.

Regards, Malik
