Overseas investment - Poland

Been thinking about Eastern Europe for the past few weeks, Poland in particular. Thinking about doing a recce on Krakow and surrounding area in the new year to see what prices and yields are like. Anyone been out there or have any experience of the Polish market ?

I have just bought near the centre of Krakow. Yeilds are likely to be avarage 6% as everything depends on what you buy. prices do feel high but are still low in comparison to the uk, best source of info is property secrets altougth they are likely to be a bit biased as they are selling over there.

Been looking into the Polish market for a while now and I think there may well be room for excellent growth potential out there. Demand outstrips supply which can only push property prices one way. I'm preparing a fact-finding sheet with a view to taking a trip out to Krakow in February. I'll keep you posted on this.

More on Poland to follow: Will be over in Krakow towards end of the month. Loads of meeting lined up with developers in the area. Also better remember to pack my winter woolies as it's -20 in parts !!.
