You were right John. Think there was no option here. Inflation at bay with oil prices down from the highs, output this quarter at 0.4% down from 0.9% last etc. Interestingly many city economists are predicting no more hikes and that rates are likely to fall next year. Perhaps 4.25% by middle next year. Ill start a new thread on furture interest rates. Julian |
