I am getting increasing annoyed with my agents in south-west London. Can anyone recommend anyone good agents in Richmond?

I live near Kingston so don't have direct contacts with Richmond agents (too expensive there!) but why not try a lettings only agent, they should be more active in terms of finding tenants, if thats where your problems have been?
