Can anyone advise me please?
I own a 3 bed flat on seafront in HOVE in a prime position. I'd like to move out into a House with a garden for a couple of years until my son is 18 and hopefully leaves home. Then I'd like to return to the flat and enjoy the sea views. As properties like this don't come on the market often it is unlikely that i could buy another one similar infuture.
I would therefore need to raise capital against the flat and let it out for 2 years but there is a restiction in the lease about subletting.
is there a way round this? The flat is currently mortgage-free. thanks Wendy
