General (main property discussion here) - Landlord Trader Survey

Just to say thanks to everyone who completed the survey. The response seems excellent. We'll give you a breakdown of the results once we've compiled them all.

We would also be interested in your thoughts on being emailed it. We try to keep email outs down to a minimum (other than alerts and question notifications of course). If anyone has any strong views on it, do let us know.

A couple of people expressed privacy concerns over the income question. It is a totally anonymous process - everyone goes to the same internet link and we've no idea who answered what, but in future if we ever undertake something similar we'll be a bit more sensitive and make such questions voluntary.

I think the forum would be a lot more active if we got email alerts or there was an indication of new posts on threads.

It's a home built forum, so that we could use the same logins for the site as for the forum (phpBB and the others would have been awkward in this way). It still lacks functionality, which I appreciate. I'll see what we can do.

I agree with Frank, it's always nice to see the replies you have generated.

Otherwise you end up trawling through all the posts to find something.

Hey, I've just come up with another bit of feedback! ....

How about a search bar for the forum? That would make it far easier to find stuff.
