General (main property discussion here) - Business courses??

Hi all,

Has anybody been on a business course to help them with their landlord business?

If so, any that were of use to you?

I really don't have many business skills and would like to brush up on it, perhaps!

I dont really need qualifications, just the knowledge really.

I think a home course would suffice as I live away from the U.K. and travelling would just cost me!

A weeks online course maybe! Do you know of any?

Go to www.learndirect.co.uk

Select advanced search then make sure only "self study" is ticked. And put the words "business start up" in the search box. It should bring up a few good results.

on the off chance you live in london, there is a great guide called 'hot courses' which lists all courses in london from business to cookery to journalism.

otherwise have you tried the local college for evening courses. even if they don't run them the teachers might know of places?

What kind of course are you looking for? Is it an overview course to include accounting, marketing amongst other topics or something more specific?
