Please advise how I can go about renting out a house for a period of 1 month.

AST - Aware of Problems re: 6 month rule

What about Short Lets and Holiday Lets. My Solicitor seems to think a Holiday Let is covered by the Protection from Eviction Act.

I am merely helping someone out who needs somwhere to stay whilst the builders finish her house. Neither of us want and AST.

Ask your solicitor about doing it under license. Don't understand it fully myself but it is like a bespoke tenanct agreement which you and the tenant sign and are bound by the terms.

What 6 month rule? As far as I know it can be between 1 day to 3 years
