How do we go about this gifted deposit, me and my partner would like to buy a property, BUT HAVE NO DEPOSIT!!! We want the property as our own home, not BTL (thats coming though hehe).

I may aswel ask, can anyone here with any properties to sell help us in this situation?

Matthew,

Gifted deposits can work and do work well but beware of who and why them are being given to you. This is particularly relevant when buying new builds and developers have been known to disguise an overpricing as a gifted deposits.

Nothing wrong with the principle just be careful.
