General (main property discussion here) - Right time to invest in buy-to-let ?

New to the site - found this a really informative forum. I read the Landlord Trader blog about houses prices falling http://www.landlordtrader.co.uk/blog.php

I am looking to put some money into the market - is now the right time to take the plunge?

I've been researching various markets.... I live in London so I am looking into that. The North East & North West seem to have attracted a lot of attention over the last couple of years but over the last few month prices seem to have come off a bit, are these good place to invest now ?

Would be great to know you're thoughts on these markets (inc London) and/ or generally entering the market now.
