From October 2008 all rental property will require to have an energy assessment conducted upon change of tenancy. The certificate will last for 10 years.
Home Efficiency Services currently undertake Energy Performance Certification (EPC), Home Information Pack preparation (HIP) and Gas Safety Certification (CP12) for landlords in the North East Region.
We are in a position to work with landlords who would like to have the CP12 and EPC undertaken at the same time. We appreciate that this will save time and minimise disruption to tenants and the possible delay to future leasing when planning mandatory work in this way.
Home Efficiency Services are in a position to offer this service at a very low cost £120.00 plus VAT. All work will be undertaken by fully accredited and insured industry professionals. At the present time, we are only able to offer this work in the North East, although we can offer low cost HIPs nationally (£249.00 plus VAT).
