Hi,

Has anyone had dealings with any of the following companies - and more importantly, could either recomend for or against them.

Hi Alex - I'm really trying to research to answer the first question myself !!

In terms of objectives, I'm looking for best capital appreciation over an 8 - 10 year period. I'm not worried about short term profits on lets (although wouldn't turn them down), but would prefer the lets to cover the mortgages. In terms of deposits, basically I'll put down whatever is necessary to get the best mortgage rates - but obviously bigger deposits equally less capital for the next property.

I've talked to various people - and received varying degrees of conflicting advice. The investment companies seem to offer a reasonably easy way in, but dealing with the right one without some independent assessment of them may be a bit of a lottery.

I was also told recently that 2 – 3 year old property can be a better bet, with snagging and questionable market valuations out of the way.

Its easy to build a portfolio....or so anyone will tell especially if they are making money from you.

I work for BTL Solutions and we dont charge....We will only source and sell properties in rentable areas and in areas that offer a good Yield. We have been working in West Central Scotland now for 10 years and have many happy clients who are repeat customers who have slowly and surely built up their portfolios with everything from x-council to new build and from studio flats to 5 bed HMO properties.

Some clients we have build portfolios for, which include all types of properties in different areas which helps to spread risks.
