Hi again everyone

I notice a ouple of great yielding props on here with far too many rooms to be let out to one family, for example. In terms of risk, are you diversifying yourself by having lots of tenants within the same building, or would I be letting myself into a logistical mindfield do you think?

I guess one bad egg in the building and everyone leaves, so it can't be as diversified as having separate props, but des it come close or should I (a relative small fish) stay clear?

Thanks

John

john, think you are looking at multi-lets and bedsits. these can be great yielders but you need to know what you are doing or have a very good management company.

as you mentioned, get a bad egg and the omlette is runined. ie the others (god tenants) may leave because one loud, smelly bu*ger!

in terms of risk they are more risky - but then again if you know what youre up to then the higher returns are possible.

hope this helps.

thanks Tom

I might wait til I'm a bit bigger.

If I can afford other properties as well as one of these high yielder multi-lets then I might enter the market.

Cheers

John
