1. Selling your portfolio through Landlord Trader
The standard route to market your portfolio is to list the properties on the main Landlord Trader site and pay £200 per property upon completion.
Our recommendation is that you list each property in the portfolio individually on the site in the usual way and be sure to mention in each listing that the property is part of a larger portfolio. This way the portfolio is spread across the entire site so will have more eyes on it.
Then you should contact Landlord Trader so that we can create a free portfolio listing for you on the Buy Portfolios page. Please email us with 100-120 words for the portfolio description. The LT Team will also link each property listing through to the portfolio.
2. Selling your portfolio through Queensgate Investments
Landlord Trader's portfolio agency arm can look at your portfolio for free to evaluate whether they have a suitable client for it. Queensgate Investments has many institutional and large private investors who do not actively search Landlord Trader, so by using the agency you are casting your net further.
Please note that Queensgate Investments does require a vendors fee of 1% on successful completion for this agency work. In certain cases a buyers fee of 1% will be applied. If you decide you would like to use this route then we recommend that this runs in conjunction with regular listings on the site.
Please note that both Landlord Trader and Queensgate Investments consider a portfolio to be 3 or more properties. Queensgate Investments may decide after evaluating your portfolio is not quite right for their client base and will not waste your time marketing it.
If at any time you need to change any element to your existing portfolio listing, please email us with the amendments.
Please note that our 1% fee is subject to a minimum charge of £750 per property.
