Landlord Law Relaunch
The Landlord-Law website has recently been re-launched in a new format and the content has been completely revised. Here is a taster of what is now on offer:
- A complete re-write of the FAQ on houses in multiple occupation (to be found in the Landlords and Tenants HMO sub sections of the members part of the site), as new licensing and other regulations came into force on 6 April.
- A new ‘enforcement’ section (to be found in the Services and Sales section of the site) with information on enforcing county court judgements, and forms to allow members to instruct enforcement specialists Sherforce direct for fixed fees. This will be of immense benefit for landlords who have obtained county court judgments which have been ignored by their tenants.
- A new ‘find a solicitor’ section (to be found in the Links and Contacts section of the site). Although Landlord-Law does offer some fixed fee services via the site (such as an advice service, drafting bespoke tenancy agreements and bringing standard proceedings for possession) there are times when the services of a traditional solicitor are needed. The Find a Solicitor directory is being developed to allow landlords and tenants to find a property solicitor in their local area.
Plus all the existing services remain, including numerous different tenancy agreements and possession notices, which annual members can download and use free of charge.
